WHAT IS FLARE FAIR ABOUT?
Flare Fair is the on-chain event of the season. Earn rewards whenever you engage with Flare DeFi dApps featured in the Fun Zones.
DO I NEED FLR TO PARTICIPATE?
For the first bridging transaction at Stargate, FLR gas is covered, so you don't need FLR. For subsequent transactions in Flare ecosystem applications, you will need FLR. Add Flare network and FLR address to MetaMask using Chainlist. Discover other options on the Flare Wallets page.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN FLR, RFLR AND FLAREDROPS?
FLR: Native token of Flare network; you need it for gas fees.
rFLR: The token that you will get as rewards from participating in this fair. rFLR = Reward FLR, which is distributed monthly via the Flare Portal.
FlareDrops: An additional network incentive program for the Flare community who hold WFLR or stake FLR. WFLR = wrapped FLR, learn how to wrap.

Ensure you are on the Flare network, and add the tokens to your wallet so the balance can be reflected:

WHAT IS RFLR? TELL ME MORE.
The rewards are given in the form of rFLR—the native tokens of Flare. Claim them each month on the Flare Portal. Upon claiming your rFLR your rewards start vesting as well as accruing FlareDrops. Each monthly rFLR allocation vests over 12 months. Withdrawing the unvested portion is possible, but you only receive 50% of the amount (in WFLR).
